JELLGR1.ITM is an undroppable melee weapon used by the Green Slime creatures.
It is considered a non-magical and unenchanted attack and deals 1 Crushing damage (adjusted by Strength modifier), with a range of one foot, and speed factor of 3. The attack produces a graphic effect using the "acid blob" projectile (No. 108), even though the range is only 1 foot.
It's on-hit effects include two potential hazards:
The first is a Poison effect on the target lasting 8 seconds. A Saving throw vs. Death with a +4 bonus is allowed to negate the effect. If the saving throw is failed, the target creature will have an indicator icon displayed on the character portrait, (No. 5, "Poisoned"), and a color effect is superimposed on the sprite for the duration of the effect turning the figure "moldy green".
The effect inflicts 2 Poison damage per round for eight seconds. The effect bypasses Magic resistance and Power level spell protections such as Minor Globe of Invulnerability and Spell Trap. The condition is non-magical and can't be removed with a Dispel Magic effect.
The second effect of a being hit by this weapon is exposure to an instant death effect Kill target, which is delayed for 10-seconds. The victim must make another saving throw vs. Death with a +4 bonus or be killed. The death type is a "chunked" death, rendering the victim's corpse destroyed. A chunked death means that resurrection/revival is impossible, and many items carried by the victim will be destroyed, permanently.
"Chunked" death can be avoided by turning off the "gore" setting in Game Options. It can't be applied retroactively of course.
The item has no other abilities.
