Lycanthrope Island South is the southern half of the Isle of Balduran, a small island somewhere in the Trackless Sea. It is here that the some of the remaining crew of Balduran's ship, the Wandering Eye, establish their village.

Having discovered the island by accident, the crew anchored in the natural harbor on the northern half of the island to replenish their supplies. A curse of Lycanthropy, inflicted upon the crew sometime during the voyage, struck not long after they landed on the island.

As fighting broke out between the lycanthrope-infested crew, the ship was beached and wrecked, leaving the two strains of lycanthropes, wolfwere and werewolf, to fight amongst themselves for survival. When the fighting reached a standstill, the chaotic wolfweres took residence in the ruins of the ship while the more organized werewolf clan withdrew to this end of the island and established their village.

The combatants fought to a standstill. The crew built this village and the wolf beasts took over the ship. Betwixt skirmishes life went on. The female crew members took husbands and started families. Things remain pretty much the same today.

—  Taloun

Recently Taloun, another victim of a ship disaster only this one inflicted by a kraken, washed up on the southern shores of the island and was accepted into the clan. Under his tutelage, he helps the fisherman build a small boat so Selaad Gan, the chieftain of the clan, can attempt to sail for the mainland. The villagers never hear from Seladd again and have assumed that he is dead.

I gained membership to the clan by showing the villagers new techniques for farming and fishing. The clan has been here since Balduran's time ye understand. They be sorely in need of the little bit of modern technology that I be having.
