The Islanne Wardstone is an item found in Islanne's room located on labyrinth level 2 beneath Durlag's Tower. It is on a table near a pair of chairs. Adding it to your inventory opens Doors 6 and 7 and closes Door 2 (once only). This will also spawn a Greater Doppelganger, impersonating Durlag Trollkiller, in the passageway between Doors 6 & 7.
Note: Of the three wardstones found in this room, adding it to your inventory doesn't provide any additional help in navigating this level of the dungeon (besides the aforementioned actions depicted previously). There are other methods for opening and closing Doors 2, 6, and 7, as described in the labyrinth level 2 area page, once you've performed the activities described above.
Caution: do not put back Islanne's stone on the table until Durlag has finished teleporting around the room and has cast his spell. Also, removing it from your inventory and putting it on the wrong table in this room will lead to a rather uncomfortable outcome.

- Once you have completed this level of the dungeon the stone can be discarded as no merchant, wizard, or thief will buy it from you.
