The House of the Elemental Lich is a house in Athkatla's Bridge District during the Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn campaign. This house does not have an official name, taking its nickname from the Elemental Lich who holds Kangaxx's Golden Torso.

WARNING: The southeastern-facing door is trapped (80 | Disintegrate) and locked (80) and leads to a different area, assuming you have a Rogue Stone in your inventory. If you make the mistake of entering unprepared, the door is gone and you must fight your way out. For further info, see the Twisted Rune Hideout.

Layout[]

Entrance to the first floor is gained through the street-level, southwestern-facing door.

The first floor layout is exactly the same as the first floor of the Tanner Shop, except that there is a third container. Containers include a square table near the door, a work table across the room, and a wicker basket.

Downstairs is the Crypt, home to an Elemental Lich. Clicking the sarcophagus gives you a warning status message.

"You feel very uneasy as you approach the sarcophagus. The lid looks heavy but you could remove it if you wish to."

Clicking again releases its occupant. Clicking once more after beating the lich gets you the Golden Torso.

Notes[]

  • The Lair of the Cult Outcasts in the Old Tunnels (where Sassar is found) uses the same map as the crypt in this house. Both sarcophagi are part of the quest to restore Kangaxx's body.
