Hoach Randymonk is a Gnome cobbler in Siege of Dragonspear, found inside Bridgefort at Boareskyr Bridge. He is the uncle of Glint Gardnersonson.
Involvement[]
Hoach can attempt to repair the boots for a fee (between 1,000 
and 2,000 depending on Charisma and whether Glint is present). The repair takes a day. The result is either another set of Paws of the Cheetah, or the unstable Boots of Speed, which destroy themselves (and nearly the wearer) when equipped.
As part of Glint's family quest, Hoach can be introduced to his nephew.

Hoach: Ah-ya. What can I do for ya?
Glint: Uncle Hoach? Is that you?
Hoach: Ah-ya. Reckon it is at that. How ya doin', nephew?
Gorion's Ward: This is your uncle, Glint?
Glint: Bloody hells, where is my head at? <CHARNAME>, this is my uncle, Hoach Randymonk.
Rasaad: Randymonk? That... is a name with a tale to tell.
Viconia: Shar preserve me... Are you actually blushing, son of Selûne?
Voghiln: Ja, he is. Most definitely. Old Voghiln's made many a lady blush—I know the signs. The monk blushes, there can be no doubting it.
Rasaad: No. Not in the slightest. It is simply a... curious name. That is all.
