High Hedge Estate is the home of the mage Thalantyr the Conjurer and it also doubles as a store, offering numerous scrolls, potions, and magical items for sale.

Flesh Golems

The building is patrolled by two Flesh Golems which appear hostile on sight and are very dangerous for low level parties. Instead of fighting them (be aware of party members' AI attacks) you can avoid them and head straight to talk to Thalantyr, upon which they turn neutral and continue to patrol the premises. Alternatively, you can kill them for 2000 XP each, with no side effects.

Note: If you try to attack the golems after you've spoken with Thalantyr, he'll turn hostile too, and then no more buying and selling can take place.

Store Inventory

Even though he says that he is interested in buying magical items, Thalantyr will, in fact, buy pretty much anything that you are carrying except ammunition and some quest items.
