The Heart Key is the reward from the Helmite Ghost after you visit the three challenge rooms, and successfully resolve each.
This key, as well as the Spirit Key and the Mind Key are needed to unbar the wheel device, which can then be turned to open the final seal, leading to a portal to the Lower reaches.

Gameplay[]
Once this key is obtained, it may be used to open one of the pedestal locks adjacent to the final seal in the center of this dungeon level.
There is no requirement to have all three keys in order to utilize a key and unlock the matching pedestal. The choice is up to the party.
Using the key with the cursor results in a text display, reading:
- You place the key into the lock. Click again to turn the key and unleash whatever guardians await you.
When the key is turned, each party member receives 20,000 XP quest points, as well as an instant appearance of the guardians.
