Halfling Treasures is a side quest in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear that can be acquired by talking to Takos at the Coast Way Crossing; he reveals that he lost all his heirlooms in a fire. Gorion's Ward can offer to help him recover them.
Heirlooms[]
Recovering the heirlooms[]
Cloak of the Beluir Watch[]
This can be found in a locked chest outside of the burned inn, next to its eastern wall.
Gentrus's Hand Mirror[]
The mirror is in a small hidden stash inside the burned inn, somewhere in the center. (There are several like this one there, other stashes might only have trash inside or be empty).
The Suncatcher[]
The party must venture to Coast Way Forest, where it's in the possession of vampire hunter Isabella. They can complete the quest Isabella and Ikros in order to get it as a reward. Alternatively, they can side with the vampire and get it off Isabella's dead body, or pickpocket it.
Reward[]
- When Gorion's Ward returns with the heirlooms, he gives you the Biter; if response #2 is chosen, that a dart is not enough, he may let you have one heirloom of your choice, but only if the party leader's charisma is above twelve.
- A halfling charname can also convince him to give up one of his heirlooms in addition to the Biter "for a fellow halfling". (worked with charisma 16, not sure if checked)
- When you insist to keep all three heirlooms, he attacks (killing him will most likely cause a loss of reputation).
- If a Bard happens to return the heirlooms, the offer of some poetry to help woo his fled wife will result in him offering a few potions in addition to the standard rewards.
