Mask, also known as the Lord of Shadows, is a neutral evil intermediate deity of rogues, thieves and intrigue.
During the Time of Troubles, Mask took the form of a powerful magic sword called Godsbane. The sword changed several mortal carriers during the period, eventually falling in the hands of Cyric, who used it to slay Bhaal on Boareskyr Bridge.

The Temple of Cyric in the Forest of Wyrms contains a secret chamber that can only be opened through a puzzle made of a series of masks. It is strongly hinted at that Godsbane is hidden in the chamber, but it turns out to be the Fractal Blade +3 and a book about Godsbane.

Vision of Cyric murdering Bhaal with Godsbane on Boareskyr Bridge
At the end of Chapter Nine, Gorion's Ward has a vision of Cyric murdering Bhaal with Godsbane, when they cross Boareskyr Bridge.
