A Gamesman can be found wherever gambling is offered in Baldur's Gate. One performs the role of a "Barker", one is a bartender and proprietor, and three offer various games to play with various odds of winning. On the long run, you will most likely lose more than you earn, but one can get possibly infinite gold by saving and loading since the winning gold is not taken from the gamesmen own inventory. Alternatively, the gamesmen can be killed to retrieve the gold you give them while also keeping the winnings (if any), though the party will suffer reputation loss.

This gamesman is only found inside the two large gambling tents in the Carnival area. He is near the entrance of the tent and performs the role of a "Barker", enticing folks to spend their money on the different games that are available within the tent.

This gamesman is only found inside the two large gambling tents in the Marketplace in Central Baldur's Gate. He is near the right rear of the tent standing behind a small bar. He comments on how the out of work locals misery keeps him from going hungry. He also promises to set straight anyone who disparages the honesty of his gaming establishment.

This gamesman is found on the second floor of the Blushing Mermaid, the captains deck on the Low Lantern, and inside the two large gambling tents in the Carnival and Marketplace areas. He offers up the Big Wheel game which is somewhat similar to roulette except the wheel is vertical instead of horizontal.

This gamesman is found on the second floor of both the Blushing Mermaid and the Tavern and Inn that's located in Southwest Baldur's Gate and inside the two large gambling tents in the Carnival and Marketplace areas. He offers up the game of craps for those who like to roll the bones.
