  • curprev 15:0215:02, 4 August 2024 Haximus Thunderburp talk contribs m 5,626 bytes 0 [Empty edit] Wrote the last edit summary from memory, but actually for Grease, it's not using a "backup effect", only its movement rate bonus configuration has been changed in EE and it is no longer affected by the Free action effect undo Tag: Source edit
  • curprev 14:5514:55, 4 August 2024 Haximus Thunderburp talk contribs 5,626 bytes +563 "Free action" effect (not the bundle of effects) is unable to remove Grease & co in EE b/c they use extra mobility-ruining status effects not cleansed by the Free action effect. In original edition, they only contained a negative or 0-setting "Movement rate bonus", which is cleansed in both edition, but OE didn't have "backup effects". I think we could move discussion on the "Free Action feature" to Free Action, make it a proper game mechanics page, & have the wiki link there instead of here undo Tag: Undo

  • curprev 16:3316:33, 2 November 2023 Haximus Thunderburp talk contribs 3,042 bytes +525 Make it clear Free action as a status effect has a minor impact, and most of the article actually talks about the free action "feature". (I didn't check whether the article is correct, only reworded) I think the correct fix would involve making the mechanics section about the real status effect and creating a separate section at the bottom describing each unique implementation of the "free action feature", & marking each cause of the Free action effect by implementation or something like that. undo Tag: Source edit
