Firewine Bridge is one of the areas from the World Map. |
Firewine Bridge is located on the Sword Coast and is the surface portion of the Firewine Ruins. It is located on the far east side of the world map and is one of two ways to enter the dungeon; the other is in the basement of the Winery and Temple in Gullykin.

Meilum[]
Meilum is a warrior who can be found north of the dungeon entrance (4850.700). He thinks that he is a famous swordsman and saying that you don't know him makes him turn hostile. He can deal a lot of damage before he is killed. On death he will drop Gauntlets of Weapon Expertise and a longsword +1. If you pretend to know him he will talk for a while and then leave permanently.
Carsa[]
Carsa is a mage standing in the area along the northern side of the bridge (3500.920). When approached she will greet you and mutter about something speaking to her in her head. You can either leave or offer to help her. If you leave she will disappear lamenting that no one will help her. If you offer to help her she will tell you all her companions are dead because of a jar she is carrying and something inside it wants her to say its name.
At this point you can leave or try to take the jar from her. If you leave she disappears but this time with ominous babbling. If you try to take the jar she will say the name "Kahrk" and die as Kahrk is released from his long imprisonment in the jar. Once free, Kahrk will attack the party. He is an Ogre Mage and depending on your level may be difficult to defeat. It is best to defeat him quickly so he has little time to cast spells.
Carsa drops a Knave's Robe and a scroll of protection from fire. Kahrk drops 4 random treasures (RNDTRE05) plus a Long Sword in BG or a Katana in BG:EE.
Bentan[]
Bentan is on the far northwest side of the bridge (Coordinates: 470.420). He will try to convert you to the worship of Ilmater. He will not become hostile even if you insult his god. If you are polite he will tell you about Ilmater the Crying God. You can pickpocket his Protection From Magic scroll.
Poe[]
Poe (2810.1560) is a bard of questionable poetic talent found standing midway on the bridge. He will recite his ballad about the ghost warriors of Firewine for you if you let him. You can also donate 10gp to him, but this does not appear to have any effect.
The respawning enemies in this area are Wild Dogs, Kobolds, Zombies, and Skeletons.
Nearby areas[]
Gullykin, a 12 hour journey, north of here. Can also be reached by using the dungeons underneath to reach it much faster, in-game time wise.
Adoy's Enclave, a 4 hour journey, east of here. This area only can be accessed if the quest Neera (quest) is active.
