Fenten is a dwarf fighter found in a house with a locked door in the southeast section of west Baldur's Gate.
To reach that area, you must first travel to Baldur's Gate Southwest then head north.
He is willing to buy all ankheg shells the party has in their inventories for 250 
. If you have two or more shells, make sure to have only one total among all party members inventories when talking to him, in order to maximize the amount of gold you can gain (just place any excess ones on the floor temporarily). He also refers to Gerde, who can be found in the Area North of the Friendly Arm.
In Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition killing him yields the Golden Axe at no reputation loss.
Glitch/exploit[]
After his inventory has filled with ankheg shells (he has 16 slots like any other NPC, all empty at the beginning) he then puts three more shells into his quick-item slots. From this point on, selling more of them will result in him dropping them to the ground. Take the dropped shell{s}, talk to him again, and rinse and repeat for infinite gold. (You need to sell him 20 shells for this to occur, to make it crystal clear).
