It is considered a non-magical, non-enchanted weapon that deals 1d8 Piercing damage (not adjusted for Strength), with a range of 1 foot and a speed factor of 3.
Each successful hit upon a living target forces a Saving throw vs. Death (with a 1-point bonus) or suffer a Poison status effect - 3 hit points per second of Poison damage for a 14 second duration.
Multiple hits and failed saving throw result in multiple additive poisoning damage instances - however, if the target is 100% resistant to Poison damage or the Poison status effect, they won't be affected at all, in the Enhanced Edition.
A player character affected by the poison effect will show an icon (No. 6) titled "Poisoned" on their portrait.
The poison effect is non-magical and can't be affected by Magic resistance or removed by a Dispel Magic effect.
