This article is a Entar Silvershield is the husband of Brilla, father of Skie, and, along with Duke Eltan, Belt and Liia Jannath, one of the Grand Dukes of Baldur's Gate before he was assassinated by Slythe and Krystin. He lived in an estate in northwest Baldur's Gate with his wife and daughter. He is only ever mentioned, never seen during the course of the original Baldur's Gate.
In the Enhanced Edition he is present upstairs in his estate and, if Skie is in your party, he angrily berates her upon finding out about her "friends" being present in the house, before leaving in a huff. If Skie isn't in your party, Entar calls for his guards and disappears.
Following his assassination, he reappears in Siege of Dragonspear. which takes place several weeks after the death of Sarevok. Following the failed assassination of the protagonist in the Ducal mansion, Entar Silvershield reveals that it took all of Fenster's skills to restore him back to life, but does not divulge any further details.
