The Enhanced Bard Song is a high-level ability for bards. Choosing this on level up will replace the current bard song, regardless of the kit chosen.
Original Game[]
Effects[]
“ | This is a powerful aid to both the bard and to his allies. The song gives the bard himself a 10 point bonus to his AC and 10% magic resistance bonus due to the power of the song. The song also gives his allies +4 to hit, +4 to damage, -4 to AC, immunity to Fear, Stun and Confusion, +5% magic resistance and immunity to normal weapons. This ability replaces the current Bard Song. |

Gameplay[]
- In the classic BG2 (not the Enhanced Edition), like the other bard songs, this song stacks with itself, granting a huge damage boost plus many benefits to the party (summons are not included [Confirmation Needed]) in the same area as the bard; the boosts it provides are all incrementally, thus stack with any other source.
- In the Enhanced Edition, this song only stacks with different bard songs (such as the Skald's or the unkitted Bard's).
Enhanced Editions[]
Effects[]
“ | This is a powerful aid to both the Bard and to <PRO_HISHER> allies. The song gives the Bard <PRO_HIMHER>self a 10-point bonus to <PRO_HISHER> Armor Class and a 10% bonus to <PRO_HISHER> Magic Resistance due to the power of the song. The song also gives <PRO_HISHER> allies +4 to hit; +4 to damage; -4 to Armor Class; immunity to fear, stun, and confusion; +5% Magic Resistance; and immunity to normal weapons. This ability replaces the current Bard Song. |

Gameplay[]
- From EE v2.3, activating bard songs will break the bard's invisibility state; deafened members can no longer hear them; same types of the songs are no longer stackable, but still stack with other sources; Enhanced Bard Song no longer covers the whole area, its AoE is limited to a 16-ft radius around the bard and also submitted to obstacles, such as closed doors, but can affect both the party and the summons.
- Contrary to the description bonuses to hit/damage and all of the listed immunities are granted to bard just as well as to his/her allies.
