“ | She is beautiful, is she not? | ” |
— Prism |
Ellesime is the elven queen of Suldanessellar. She is said to be of divine heritage, and her beauty is often compared to a goddess.
In Baldur's Gate, Prism the sculptor is seen finishing a sculpture of Ellesime as his final act.
During Baldur's Gate II Chapter 1 on the Irenicus's Dungeon 2nd Floor - the party will encounter an escaped clone of Ellesime - created by Jon Irenicus.
In Baldur's Gate II Chapter 7, Ellesime is a captive and pleads to Gorion's Ward to help defeat Irenicus and save the elven city of Suldanessellar and the Tree of Life.
She makes a short appearance in the Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal during one of the challenges in the Pocket Plane area.
Notes[]
- She is never intended to be attacked, and even so, in scenarios where the player even has a chance to command and give orders to the party, she is equipped with the MINHP1.ITM to ensure survival for plot purposes and to reduce scripting failures. There are no pick pocketing opportunities with Ellesime.
- In the original Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, she is of true neutral alignment. During the Pocket Plane challenges, however, she is a lawful good cleric. The Enhanced Edition adopted this for her in general. The game has several creature files for her various appearances. She will never be involved in combat of any type.
