Egg Guard drow warriors are found in the city of Ust Natha and inside the Temple of Lolth during the Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn campaign.

Gameplay[]
The warriors are clad in adamantine full plate and wield a halberd, all enchanted drow craftsmanship. The two guards stand at either side of a pathway leading up to a staircase ascending to the double-doored Treasury Chamber.
They can be spoken to but won't engage in conversation on their own.
These guards will be neutral, but if the doors to the Treasury Chamber are ever opened and any party members are seen (not invisible), they will become hostile and shout:
- "You there! You have entered the halls of Lolth unbidden! There is but one fate for such a crime! Lolth be praised!"
If any party members are detected after the treasury door is opened, the guards will attack.
It is noteworthy to point out that these creatures have only 10 Hit Points. This is the game developers helping the player succeed in their disposal. Also, killing these guards does not result in anyone in the temple knowing what has occurred, as long as they are killed.
Mod content[]
This section is about unofficial content that is only available via fan-made mods.
Installation of the Sword Coast Stratagems Mod makes some changes to the guards. A fighter AI script is assigned for better tactical behavior.
Three pips in Halberd weapon proficiency are assigned, and 2 pips in two-handed weapon fighting style. Not that this matters, as they still have 10 HP.
