Derelict Home is an empty house in Athkatla's Slums during Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.
It remains empty of inhabitants, unless and until Jaheira is cursed by three mages hired by Baron Ployer in the Sea's Bounty Tavern at the Athkatla Docks, thus beginning one of Jaheira's Companion quests, Save Jaheira from Baron Ployer's Curse
Depending upon which choices are made after the curse is given, one or more of the mages, Terrece, Gracien and Malacazar, can be found here along with Ployer, at the conclusion of the quest.
