Delorna is one of three daughters of the mage Shandalar. She is found on the third floor of Oberan's Estate in Central Baldur's Gate, along with her sisters, Helshara and Ithmeera. They are guarding a special set of spell components needed to create Halruaan skyships.

Alatos and the Thieves' Guild[]
Alatos, the leader of the Thieves' Guild, has been contacted by the Halruaan mage, Resar, who wants the former to arrange the theft of three artifacts used to create skyships. The Halruann's do not wish to see the secret of their creation spread beyond the borders of Halruaa, and Alatos has concluded that Gorion's Ward and party would be the best choice for the job.
Obtaining the components[]

If you attempt the direct route, Helshara will immediately initiate dialogue upon sight with the party, which then begins a brief back and forth conversation with her and Ithmeera. However, if you sneak past Helshara and Ithmeera and reveal yourself to Delorna, she will also immediately initiate dialogue. Both dialogue routes lead to hostilities. Should harm come to the three daughters, Shandalar will be none to pleased, and you just might end up on a spit of rock you're not prepared to visit quite yet.
If you attempt to charm any of the three daughters, they all give the same reply:
