This page is about the female version of the historian from the Werewolf Village, only encountered by male main characters. For her counterpart of/for the other sex, see Durlyle.
Delainy is a female historian from the Werewolf Village on the southern half of the Isle of Balduran. She will ask Gorion's Ward to find a cloak that was lost during a storm.
After delivering the cloak, she will then ask Gorion's Ward to find some Belladonna Flowers for her.

- Delainy will only be encountered by a male Gorion's Ward. A player's main character of the female sex will meet Durlyle instead.
- This is the only instance in the game of a script that reacts to the chosen gender in such a way.

This icon indicates content from the original Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast campaign. Interestingly, regarding the above, Delainy's sex is male for both of her appearances in the original Tales of the Sword Coast. This is fixed in the Enhanced Edition.
