Darts +5 are enchanted and magical darts in Shadows of Amn, six of which can be used once per day by taking them from the Cloak of the Stars.

- Though the description states they last for twenty-four hours, the darts +5 will only vanish after the next rest.
- This is no longer true in the Enhanced Editions, each stack of darts will vanish after 24 hours regardless of rest or not. The timer, however, is determined by the time the stack was created so as a workaround a player can create 6 Darts +5, go to sleep, create 6 more darts that appear in the inventory as a separate stack, and then add the original stack (which would normally disappear after 16 hours) to the newly created one to have a stack of 12 Darts +5 that will disappear after 24 hours. This can continuously be done to move darts to new stacks and reset their timer. (This has been tested as of EE 2.6)
- Only six of them can be created, but in theory they would stack to up to twenty in the original Shadows of Amn and up to eighty in the Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition.
- There are two alternatives to this, the method listed above and selling the Cloak of the Stars to a merchant and buying it back to recharge it can both be used to stockpile a large amount of +5 darts, which can be useful for anyone looking for a ranged weapon of sufficient enchantment to damage any enemy that has immunity to +3 and lower weapons.
- These can be sold on a base of 25
each to any merchant willing to buy darts in general.
