The Dark Moon Note is a scroll found on one of the Dark Moon Monks who attack the party at night in South Baldur's Gate after traveling there following conversations with Rasaad. This attack begins The Enemies of My Friend side quest once you have read the note. This note is the first of three notes that detail the Dark Moon cult's plot to have Rasaad killed and provides the initial background for the quest and where the party needs to go next to continue the quest.
