Daggers are a class of one-handed melee weapon that fall under the Dagger weapon proficiency in all games except for classic Baldur's Gate, in which they shared the Small Sword weapons category with [Short Swords]]. They can be used by any character class with the exception of Clerics. The basic Dagger has a range of 0ft, deals 1d4 piercing damage with a speed factor of 2 and requires a Strength of 3 to use.
