It is considered a magical and +4 enchanted item and deals 1d6 +10 (slashing) damage (adjusted by Strength bonus), with a range of one foot, and speed factor of 3.

Sword Coast Stratagems mod revises all dragon melee attack weapons (claw/bite} to a range or reach of 5. This means that the beast can strike at opponents several rows back, if for instance, the dragon is surrounded by summoned creatures that a party member is using as a meat shield.
The mod also rebalances most dragon claw attacks to act as a +4 enchanted item in terms of what they can strike.
