Cyric, also known as the Prince of Lies, is the chaotic evil deity of murder, death and tyranny.
He is one of the youngest deities in the realms, and only came into power roughly a decade ago during the Time of Troubles. On Boareskyr Bridge he slew Bhaal with the help of Mask, in the form of the sword Godsbane, and stole his portfolio. He also acquired the portfolios of Myrkul and Bane after their demise.
In-Game[]

Throne of Bhaal[]
He makes an appearance in Chapter 9 of ToB, during the fourth test of the Pocket Plane, in which he questions the protagonist about the potential threat they pose to him as the current god of murder. He then summons a few of his faithful to "test" them before disappearing.
