Cursed Scroll of Ailment is one of the cursed scrolls in Baldur's Gate. It looks like a Protection From Poison scroll and is named "Protection Scroll" before it is identified.
Unlike other cursed scrolls that affect only the reader, this scroll may be used offensively against opponents.
When used, it poisons the reader (36 damage over 12 seconds) and forces the target to save vs. death. If the saving throw is failed, the target will die (explode) in a few seconds.
