The Crypt (Northwest of Tirdir's Grave) is a non-descript tomb located near the center of the Graveyard district. There are no exterior clues as to what is inside. The door is not locked or trapped.

Description[]

The interior tomb is a single rectangular chamber with a tall ceiling supported by four stone columns. A single iron-barred window is present on one wall, with dirt encrusted stained glass, allowing weak light to enter during daylight hours. The floor of the chamber is coated in a fine layer of dust. No one has disturbed this crypt in quite some time.

The chamber has only the one door to enter/exit. A raised pedestal-style sarcophagus, with a molded or carved relief of a warrior in repose with a large shield atop its torso, lies in the center of the tomb. A longsword and axe are crossed by the figure's feet. There is a chest on the floor at the far end of the chamber.

Loot[]

Sarcophagus[]

Close examination of the sarcophagus lid indicates a hidden, trapped locking mechanism[1], so suggest a party rogue examine it. Within it, should the lid be shifted - is found a Battle Axe +2.

Chest[]

The chest is locked.(80) Among various papers, wilted flowers, dried spices and evaporated perfumes is one item each of rich and average random treasure.
