The Cleric of Talos is a female human cleric enemy NPC found in the North Forest area during Chapter Eight.
There are two of these clerics, and they are "spawned" on the map triggered by the party crossing hidden proximity zones on the steppingstones and bridge.
Gameplay[]
The cleric is labelled "Cleric of Talos"; however, it doesn't have the Priest of Talos kit assigned to it - it's just an un-kitted cleric.
The cleric's AI script is configured to be predominantly a support healer of the Yaga-Shura forces here in this area. The cleric responds to various triggers, and especially if one of her allies uses their HELP script, where they may shout "I can't take this!", or "I need healing!".
Ther are a few status effects the cleric can recognize afflicting its allies - and can try and mitigate those with spells as shown on the InfoBox.
The cleric uses no offensive damaging spells but may try and silence a party spell caster if they are in range.
In terms of self-preservation the cleric will quaff its healing potion if damaged over its threshold and apply various healing spells to self as well.
Despite having an Invisibility Purge spell in memory, the cleric's script only can handle a True Seeing spell cast, which it doesn't have, so this support unit can't help with removing enemy illusions.

Mods:[]
The Sword Coast Stratagems mod makes a few revisions to this cleric, starting with a new default AI script, and 2-points in single weapon fighting style.
Behavior and spell casting are changed, with a new memorized spell book of cleric spells. The cleric will buff itself when an enemy is detected, for example with uninterruptible applications of Armor of Faith and Free Action.
If the cleric senses a hidden or invisible opponent in range, it will attempt an Invisibility Purge spell cast to try and reveal it.
The cleric now has some offensive capability as well, such as Hold Person (priest), Cloak of Fear, Cause Serious Wounds, and Flame Strike, and it can still perform healing to allies too, as well as removal of some status effects.
With the latest versions of SCS, the mod's divine magic additions will allow for spell casting such as Prayer, Exaltation and Recitation.
