Disambiguation icon This page is about the tenth chapter from Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear. For the tenth chapter of Baldur's Gate II, see Baldur's Gate II Chapter 10.

Chapter Ten – Allied Siege Camp is the fourth and largest part of the Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear storyline, following its Prologue and previous chapters.

Signs of the crusade's recent presence can be seen on the road to Dragonspear Castle, but the Shining Lady's actual servants are rarely encountered. The few crusaders you spy in the distance invariably retreat at the first opportunity.

As the march wears on, fatigue grips your company. Tempers flare within the caravan. Your reputation as the hero of Baldur's Gate protects you from petty squabbles and angry outbursts... or perhaps, after what happened on Boareskyr Bridge, there is another reason few are willing to cross you.

These thoughts are put aside when you see the banners of Waterdeep, Daggerford, and the Flaming Fist at the edge of the coalition's siege camp. Dragonspear Castle is near, and so is Caelar's day of reckoning.

Walkthrough[]

Note: You'll trigger a series of storyline-advancing events after you place the Barrel of Bwoosh! in the Underground River or have met Hephernaan in the Dragonspear Castle Basement: All crusaders at the Underground River will become hostile the next time you enter the area, and should you return to the Coalition Camp afterwards, you won't be able to freely explore the Dead Man's Pass otherwise; the main gate at the Dragonspear Castle Exterior will be locked, plus once you go to the Coalition Camp after the parley in the pass, you'll be forced to proceed to Chapter Eleven, leaving all related sidequests uncompleted.

Notes[]

  • Other than told in the intro, the actual order of the banners on the image is the Flaming Fist as second and Daggerford as third.
