Non-party items

Non-party items are those that neither the protagonist nor companions have access to. These are usually equipped on non-party creatures (NPCs) to provide various special effects. They can not be stolen, and are not dropped when NPCs are slain. One of the few exceptions is Imoen's Belt, which Imoen has in possession when joining the party inside Irenicus's Dungeon during Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.
