CW's House or Cowled Wizards House (or Perth the Adept's House) is a prominent home on the Northeast Part of Brynnlaw, on a main street. This home is a residence provided by the Cowled Wizards administrative official to the Spellhold Asylum on the island.

Description[]

This multi-level structure is well-built and indicates a well to do owner. For game playing purposes only a portion of the home is available for exploration on the ground floor. The internal layout is just one large distinct room, subdivided into different functional areas, such as visitor bunks, food storage and preparation, a screened off bed chamber and even a pen for some livestock. Various furnishings are placed throughout.

Gameplay[]

Assuming the party has made its way to the home in order to pursue information gleaned earlier - especially as part of the Getting inside the asylum plot - then entering the building from the only available doorway will introduce the party to Perth the Adept. See his page for details.

Containers[]

There are several containers that can be examined within the area. These can be rummaged through, and anything found can be removed. This will most likely occur after the encounter with Perth has been resolved.

  • A wooden box contains a pair of Potion of Extra Healing.
  • A central table has a Horn Coral Gem and a Book titled "History of the Drow II".
  • A strong looking reinforced chest near the main bed is observed. It is locked (difficulty 89) and trapped (difficulty 80). If accessed successfully. can be found two Random treasure items.
