Gameplay[]
They deal 1d8 points of Missile damage and they have a theoretical projectile range of 100'.
Because the cleric, cavalier, druid, mage and sorcerer can't use crossbows, they can't equip bolts, either.
Bolts are sold at almost all weapon stores for 1 
per 20 in Baldur's Gate or 1 for 40 in Baldur's Gate II. This item appears in Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.
