This article is a The Blind Albino Wyrmlings are a pack of young metallic wyverns originally born to a mother named Halatathlaer. When she was killed during the last Dragonspear War, the hatchlings were left vulnerable in their nesting grounds, a cave branching off from the Underground River that ran beneath Dragonspear Castle. A malevolent wizard named Ithtaerus found the eggs and began experimenting on them, exposing them to black magic in the egg. This corrupted them into twisted monsters, a process accelerated by their being trapped so deep underground, and they became ravenous, cannibalistic beasts.
The entrance to the wyrmlings' prison-lair is a secret door, disguised as a purplish crack in the wall. It is located in the central section of the Underground River area. The Journal of Ithtaerus and a Shadow Gem can be found inside as well.
