The Black Isle Logo
Black Isle Studios is the name of the division that published the original Baldur's Gate series. It was founded in 1996 by Feargus Urquhart. They were also producing Baldur's Gate III: The Black Hound, which was cancelled before realization.
The studio was closed in December 2003.
