Baldur's Gate Wiki

Bilquis is encountered only in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition when pursuing Hexxat's request questline and visiting the Tomb of the Unproved area.

Why have you come to this place of the dead?

She is one of four human Hakima seen in the first chamber of the Tomb of the Unproved. This ghostly appearing figure (looks like a blurry female fighter) stands watchful upon a small platform, observing the party - She has some dialogue

Game Play[]

Bilquis will speak but doesn't initiate dialogue with the party. She typically only speaks in response to remarks or questions from the party, and she can make interjections to other conversing Hakima as well.

She can See the invisible.

As long as she isn't made hostile, a rogue could attempt to pick pocket some of her belongings.

All of the Hakima here visually appear as if they are spirits, however they have corporeal bodies, and are not classified as undead. They do have some immunities associated with the undead - see the InfoBox for a listing.

If made hostile, she behaves as a shortbow using fighter, who also carries a spear - both are enchanted. Upon her hips are quivers of enchanted arrows that she uses as ammunition for her bow.

At the outset of battle she'll quaff a Potion of Invulnerability (if she has any left if pickpocketed earlier), and if she can see any enemy creatures, she'll then empower her Called shot ability, where each arrow strike can inflict three different penalties to the victim.

If she is affected by a Slow effect, which will temporarily undo her innate improved haste, she will apply her Oil of Speed.

When an opponent is within 7 feet of her, she'll switch to melee weaponry for close quarters combat, otherwise she fires arrows, until she runs out.

When her hit points fall to 50%, a Potion of Superior Healing will be quaffed, and she has five of them.
