Bandon is a character that Gorion's Ward encounters the first time the party leaves Athkatla through the City Gates during the Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn campaign. A Soldier near to the gate confronts Bandon, "Hold, traveler. What is your business here in Athkatla?"

At "Spices" the soldier insists on a search, to which Bandon offers "a few gold and a sample [to] turn your eye? ...It is especially difficult to acquire lotus petals of such a dark hue. Almost... black."
These Black Lotus "spices" seem to interest the soldier, and the encounter ends with "You've a deal. On your way then."
Presumably, Bandon leaves the game afterwards, but if the party is quick enough, he can be pick-pocketed for Poor Random Treasure(50) (he has no other items).

- In the Classic Baldur's Gate II:
Shadows of Amn (2000)
This icon indicates content from the original Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn campaign. game, Bandon's appearance is that of a Shadow Thief, but his class is "Innocent." - Also in the original game, his Alignment is Lawful Neutral, which would seem to be a contradiction while smuggling Illegal Drugs... unless he is "under contract" to do so.
