Asmay Jahag is a Bhaalspawn who sought Gromnir Il-Khan's protection in Saradush. When Yaga-Shura began to lay siege to the city, Gromnir went mad and started executing innocent citizens, prompting Asmay to run away from him.
In Throne of Bhaal, you will meet her in the basement of Castle Saradush.

Gameplay[]
Standing in a unfinished tunnel passageway near the transition between the castle basement and the Saradush Jail, the party can initiate conversation with this woman if desired, because she won't do it on her own.
No matter who initiates the dialogue it is implied that Gorion's Ward is the one doing the talking for the party (even if the ward is 200 feet away for example).
Find out what is going on with this escapee, and what she might know about finding Gromnir, although there is no journal update to the Dealing with Gromnir questline.
See the dialogue section below for a recap of most of the discourse if desired. After the conversation ends, she departs the map, never to be found again.
Killing her before speaking to her, or after speaking to her nets nothing of any value and no repercussions.
If the party entered the castle basement via the sewers, then the information she volunteers about this place such as the guards and traps is of little use, as the party had to get past quite a few of them already to even speak with her.

- What are you talking about?
- Well, since you are skulking around the nether regions of this castle, I have to assume that you are seeking an escape from this place—as am I.
- Actually, I'm trying to find a way in to see Gromnir.
- You might want to rethink that. Gromnir is mad. He's randomly executing anyone he thinks might be a traitor.
- Most of the Bhaalspawn just go along with his wild accusations, trying to avoid drawing attention to themselves. But I can't stand it anymore.
- Now I understand why you're trying to escape this place.
- Executing innocent people just isn't right. And how long until Gromnir points his finger at me? I just want to get as far from that madman as possible.
- Can you give me any advice on how to get inside to see Gromnir?
- There's a host of patrols just down this corridor. They're guarding some prisoners Gromnir plans to execute. If you're careful, you could sneak past them and into the castle.
- Most of the Bhaalspawn just go along with his wild accusations, trying to avoid drawing attention to themselves. But I can't stand it anymore.
- But watch out... there's traps and alarms all over the place. Most of them are so sensitive they go off if you even get close to them—keep a wide berth if you know what's good for you.
