Arrows of Dispelling are magical, but not enchanted arrows (ammunition for bows in the Baldur's Gate series) which will dispel magical effects from the target, while still inflicting missile damage.
They can hit creatures immune to normal weapons. For all intents and purposes, they will behave like +1 weapons. Creatures immune to +1 weapons, either innate or protected by Protection From Magical Weapons or a Mantle spell, cannot be dispelled with these arrows. Physical Mirror and the Reflection Shield also protects against them.

Statistics[]
In addition to typical missile damage of 1 to 6 points, this ammunition will also dispel all status effects the target currently benefits, or suffers, from. Other than the spells with the same purpose, this ability affects the target only, and it doesn't take the power of the effects into account. It isn't blocked by magic resistance, nor is a save allowed. This can be useful not on enemies only: if a party member suffers from serious effects, the minor physical damage might be acceptable if there's no spell caster around who could dispel magic.
Although having such an impact on magic in general, the arrow itself is not enchanted, thus cannot harm certain creatures with according immunity, and does not add to the bowman's THAC0.
