Arrows +1 are flight arrows – ammunition for bows – in the whole Baldur's Gate series.
Description[]
“ | Minor enchantments guarantee magical arrows improved accuracy. | ” |
— Arrows +1 (excerpt) |
Statistics[]
Compared with a normal arrow, the magical +1 variant increases basic missile damage by 1, dealing 2 to 7 points (except in Shadows of Amn).n It also aids the bowman in hitting the target, increasing the chance by 1 (THAC0 bonus).
Like their counterpart arrows +2, this ammunition bears no enchantment in Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga (see notes), but counts as being enchanted with level 1 in the other games.
As for other arrows, clerics and druids of all class combinations, as well as mages and sorcerers, aren't able to use them. While cavaliers and kensai also aren't allowed to fire a bow, they at least can help carrying some quivers of these – something, monks can only do in Baldur's Gate II.
They are sold for a basic price of 10 on the Sword Coast, but are worth only 5 in Amn and Tethyr.
