Ardic Santele is the son of Mirnielle Santele and is only potentially encountered if the player is pursuing the Betrayal at the Gates side quest in Saradush during Chapter Eight.
Gameplay[]
The quest plot line has Ardic as a secret captive of Kiser Jhaeri and his cohorts, sequestered away behind some hidden wall panels within Kiser's Home - Cellar.
Kiser has taken Ardic as leverage to extort/force Countess Santele to testify that Mateo is actually responsible for opening a secret gate for Yaga Shura's forces (and not himself).
If the party is able to navigate the quest and rescue Ardic, then this action will help exonerate Mateo, result in the extermination of the treacherous Kiser, and gain several rewards, including one from the grateful Countess.
Siding with Kiser has its own rewarding outcome and may be viewed as the evil quest "solution".
If the party killed his mother, then dialogue with Ardic after he is found can lead to him turning hostile to the party - whereby he will no doubt fall in combat very rapidly - otherwise, he'll end up walking off the map with various emotional final remarks depending on the situation from previous party actions.
