Alhelor is a human mage and a member of the retribution squad from the Most Noble Order of the Radiant Heart that has been sent to administer justice upon the party for the killing of five knights in the Windspear Hills area during the Journey to the Windspear Hills side quest. The squad is composed of three paladins, a cleric, a fighter/cleric, and the mage.
They will randomly appear in the Bridge, Docks, or the Slums districts, or Waukeen's Promenade at any time of the day or night to attack the party for the party's horrific act of murder. All of this can be avoided if the party takes up Garren Windspear's offer of temporary sanctuary inside his cabin following the battle with the knights. After some conversation inside the cabin, Windspear will set off to try to clear the party's name with the Radiant Heart by contacting some of his former friends within the Order. A task in which he is ultimately successful in accomplishing.

There is a second reason why the party may encounter the Radiant Heart enforcer group (including Alhelor) in Athkatla - and that occurs if the party's reputation falls to the "Despised" ranking.
The Radiant Heart enforcers group will attack the party on sight, with little or no warning. See the Gallery further below.

Mod content[]
This section is about unofficial content that is only available via fan-made mods.
With the Sword Coast Stratagems mod installed, and especially with the "Smarter Mage" component, this mage will be assigned a kit (Invoker, Enchanter, Conjurer or Necromancer - randomly determined upon install). The mage will have prepared Previously Cast initial buffs, prepared sequencers and Spell Trigger. On Hardcore and Insane difficulty will utilize mage High-level class ability. A different spell book will be provided than the unmodded game - and whichever kit is present will influence the scripted memorized spells for use.
Expect a Time Stop with at least two spells cast during that pause in time. An SCS random potion is provided for quaffing to the mage. This mage will be more difficult to face than the regular game version by a noticeable degree, with considerable staying power.
