To start this quest speak with Delsvirftanyon, a gnome who can be found standing near the stables in the town of Ulgoth's Beard. He wants out of the merchant business and is ready to sell his remaining inventory for 500 
.
There are three outcomes to the quest depending on your dialogue choices.
- If you decline to buy his merchandise and tell him that you have no need for his trinkets, he'll leave, never to be heard from again.
- If you ask him to lower his price or tell him he's an insolent weasel, the conversation will end but he'll remain where he is and not leave. This gives you another opportunity to buy his merchandise.
- If you agree to buy his merchandise, you will be given the items listed in the infobox.
Notes[]
- This is one of those side quests that will appear in your Journal as a completed quest whether you do or don't agree to buy Delsvirftanyon's merchandise.
- Should you refuse to pay but decide later to fork over the gold pieces, the journal entry itself will change, but the quest header tab will still read "finished".
- Unlike the Galken's Wardstone quest, you don't end up losing gold as you can sell the items, except for both wardstones, for a net profit of 54
