I wanna draw the bg1-bg2 companions as I'm enjoying all three games currently, but when trying to find a reference for Hexxat, I found two designs. One of them (purple hair one) is the one from the Shadows of Amn which is as far as I am currently for bg2 but then the other (poc one) appears for her appearance on her wiki page which I've never seen before. I was just wondering which one is the design for her that I should use for art
What's on your mind?

My character is constantly repeating the remark of another NPC, what should I do? In Baldur’s gate 3
I had Minsc in my party. During a battle, he got petrified. After the battle was over, I used a stone to flesh scroll to depetrify him. After that I was unable to initiate dialogue with him, thus unable to get him back in my party. I assume this has something to do with the fact that he was in a berserk (i.e. unapproachable) state when he got petrified. Minsc's unapproachable state, post depetrification, doesn't end, even if you wait a whole day. I'm pretty sure this is not how things are supposed to work. It's super-annoying. So, WTF?
Imo there is no place for mod content in the regular articles. Either go make a separate wiki or make separate pages for that stuff.
My character successfully removed his hand from the wall with flesh in the Moonrise Towers (where the boards are), out of curiosity, I stuck my hand into the wall again. However, the roll that appeared (at least the one I chose) had a DC of 0. I rolled a 1 (a critical failure with no bonuses, essentially meaning a permanent failure), but the die value suddenly turned into a 20 (not showing a critical success, just a success). My question is - why roll if you are guaranteed to win? That's not how it works
What race and class helps make the game easier? Like more damage or certain advantages.
The troll edits are noticeable and getting worse. While, yes, this happens, the shock images and the absolutely vile edited banner feel like an indication that the wiki is getting more attention than regular editors are prepared to handle. Is it possible to restrict who can edit?
A thought just occurred to me yesterday of a new weapon that would make BG really popular. Add a new Wand of Desire. This would cause anyone who lost their saving throw to want to have sex with their closest ally. Here is how it would work.
Jaheira- Casts spell Wand of Desire on Lamelha.
Lamelha - Attacks Zeela, takes her club.
Zeela - Hey, give that back!
Lamelha - Attacks Zeela, takes her shield.
Zeela - Have you gone crazy?
Lamelha - Attacks Zeela, takes her studded armor.
Zeela - What the hell are you doing? Leaves the area.
Lamelha - Follows Zeela out of area.
Of course this would require a huge amount of new dialog as everyone would be trying out the wand on different combinations of characters.
Greetings, I'm new here.
Haven't played any Baldurs Gate games in years, not since Dark Alliance 1 and 2 on the original Xbox console. Got BG3 recently on xbox series s and I'm trying to figure out a build, got any suggestions for a halfling or a elf-like character?
I have a question I have not been able to find an answer to by searching. When I find a item and select it, all the characters that can't use the item turn dark. Others are either clear or yellow. What is the difference? Why is one clear and others yellow if they can all use the item?
I'm in front of the lower stone door or at the altar where the last three shadow gems have to be used. As soon as I use them, they disappear from my inventory of course, but only one remains on the altar. My Tav responds with “something is still missing” but there are no other options. Is there anybody with the same problem? :(
Yo! I just noticed that Fandom made the Thanks extension available at the flip of a switch in November 2023. It allows logged in users to thank a specific edit made by another logged in user. Often we think an edit is great but don't go the extra mile to write a message in the article or person's talk page. So "Thanks" allows to give a positive signal in those cases where there would be none. Wanna enable it here? Image of it (EDIT: click on the empty part to get the full size image, it'll be too small if it's the image that's clicked O_o):
It's been enabled on Wikipedia for a long time apparently, here's more on the process of bringing it in the Fandom ecosystem.
If no one cares either way, I might just go and enable it. It can be disabled with a switch at any time anyway.
Hello! I'm new here, and I'm in to the vampire boi... He's relatable 😏
Off topic, why is dark mode on this wiki so bright-
I'm trying to see if the $70 dollar price is worth it
